Simple & Easy Lattes
Matcha Latte
My new recent fav. I must admit that Matcha is an acquired taste (similar to avocados), once you try enough to like it, you end up loving it.
It simply consists of:
- 2 tsp Matcha Powder – My favorite Matcha Powder is already sweetened so I don’t have to add much else.
- 1 cup of Milk – My preference is Chobani’s Extra Creamy Oat Milk
- 1/4 cup of Hot Water – I usually use the hot water option on my espresso machine
- *(Optional) Sifter/Strainer – Some matcha powders require the powder to be sifted in order to remove possible lumps, but this matcha does not.
- Sweetener – I use a dash of honey
- Ice (of course)
- (Optional) Whipped Cream
Instructions:
- Place ice and milk into your cup
- Add the Matcha powder and honey to the hot water and stir until well blended and dissolved.
- Combine prepared Matcha with milk
- (Optional) Top with whipped cream
- Done!
