Matcha Latte

My new recent fav. I must admit that Matcha is an acquired taste (similar to avocados), once you try enough to like it, you end up loving it.

It simply consists of:

  • 2 tsp Matcha Powder – My favorite Matcha Powder is already sweetened so I don’t have to add much else.
  • 1 cup of Milk – My preference is Chobani’s Extra Creamy Oat Milk
  • 1/4 cup of Hot Water – I usually use the hot water option on my espresso machine
  • *(Optional) Sifter/Strainer – Some matcha powders require the powder to be sifted in order to remove possible lumps, but this matcha does not.
  • Sweetener – I use a dash of honey
  • Ice (of course)
  • (Optional) Whipped Cream

Instructions:

  1. Place ice and milk into your cup
  2. Add the Matcha powder and honey to the hot water and stir until well blended and dissolved.
  3. Combine prepared Matcha with milk
  4. (Optional) Top with whipped cream
  5. Done!
